Shining in the Middle East! DONGFENG MAGE GCC Edition Saudi Arabia leads the launch!

On August 21st, in Jeddah, a coastal city in Saudi Arabia known as the "Bride of the Red Sea", the DONGFENG MAGE model made a dazzling debut. This is the first official appearance of the DFPV MAGE GCC version in the Middle East, marking a new stage for DONGFENG Motor's product layout in the Middle East.

More than 100 people, including senior management of DONGFENG's partner, mainstream media in Saudi Arabia, and local automotive industry partners, witnessed this milestone moment. The UAE marketing team of the DFMIEC sent their congratulations remotely online.

The new MAGE launch event was held at the most renowned Red Sea Mall in Jeddah. The event location was highly consistent with the living scenarios of MAGE's target customers. Based on the most representative consumer venue in the local area and targeting young and fashionable consumer groups, it interpreted the changes brought by DONGFENG Motor's innovative technology and considerate design to automotive life, and attracted the attention of potential customers through the all-round satisfaction of customer needs.

Just as Wu Jinxiang, General Manager of the UAE Regional Marketing Center of the DFMIEC, said in his speech: "DONGFENG Motor has always been driven by a commitment to excellence, constantly pushing the boundaries of automotive technology and design. The Saudi market holds a special position. DONGFENG Motor regards it as an important part of its global strategy, which is why we chose the beautiful city of Jeddah to launch our Mage 2025 GCC version."

This launch event attracted more than 60 medias, KOLs in the automotive and consumer fashion fields. During the three-day new model display event following the launch event, many online celebrities and consumers came to visit and promote. The new MAGE launch was disseminated over 200,000 times on traditional online media platforms, and the dissemination on social media exceeded 3.53 million times.

According to the plan, from September to October, Saudi Arabia's DFPV partner will continue to carry out activities such as Mall displays and test drive experiences at sub-dealers in key cities such as Riyadh, Dammam, and Abha, continuously enhancing the market popularity of the new MAGE.

Since the beginning of 2024, the overall performance of Saudi Arabia's partner has been improving. Since the Ramadan promotion campaign in March, it has achieved consecutive 6-month sales growth, stabilizing from a monthly average sales volume of less than 100 units to the current monthly average of over 250 units, approaching 300 units. With the successful launch of the new MAGE, the overall sales volume of DFPV in Saudi Arabia is expected to exceed 3,100 units in 2024. Compared to the sales volume of 756 units in 2023, it is expected to achieve a year-on-year performance growth of 300%.
