At 10:30 am May 8 (Berlin Time), a China-Europe (Chongqing-Xinjiang-Europe) freight train loaded with Glory ix5 pulled into Bremerhaven Hauptbahnhof Railway Station with a whistle. This is the first time that "Chongqing-made" passenger vehicles have been exported to Germany aboard a freight train, as well as the first freight train delivering independent-branded Chinese vehicles to Germany via Chongqing-Xinjiang-Europe Railway. It marks the entry of the globalization of Chinese auto brands into a new stage.
The train carrying 100 Glory ix5 vehicles departed from Tuanjiecun Railway Station in Chongqing on April 15 and arrived at Bremerhaven Hauptbahnhof Railway Station in 23 days. These vehicles will be dispatched by German distributors to all parts of Germany for sales afterwards.
DFSK has exported more than 300,000 units to over 70 countries and regions such as Europe, South America, Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. DFSK's commercial vehicle sector has come out on top in terms of mini car exports for six consecutive years. Glory 580 was ranked 2nd among Chinese seven-seat SUVs in terms of exports.

DFSK is one of the first EU-certified Chinese auto brands. The first batch of DFSK mini commercial vehicles entered Germany in 2008. The first batch of DFSK passenger vehicles (Glory SUVs) entered Germany in 2018. With its total exports growing year by year, DFSK has become the largest Chinese auto brand in Germany.
The mass export of upgraded new intelligent coupe-Glory ix5 SUV to Germany by train marks the full entry of DFSK's passenger vehicles into Europe.
DFSK has responded to the "Belt and Road" initiative, taken a step forward in business deployment, and striven to be a pathfinder for the European auto market by rich global market experience and cost-effective products. Despite higher access threshold and technical requirements, DFSK has still focused on the core European market-Germany, and achieved tangible results. Now Glory outshines the other Chinese brands in terms of market share in Germany and Spain. The mass export of Glory ix5 to Germany by train will bolster DFSK's role in Germany, and further firm up the confidence of Chinese automakers in developing the European and global markets.
As the first China-made coupe exported to Germany, Glory ix5 went on high-end markets like South Korea and Germany around 2019, and were sold in large volume. Positioned as a new intelligent coupe, Glory ix5 has been validated by the Chinese market, enjoys the unique charm of "country crossing, intelligence and reassurance", innovatively and organically integrates coupe styling with SUV trafficability, and meets German consumers' diverse needs for fashion design, intelligent technology, ultra high performance and safety quality.
Having passed rigorous quality and safety certifications in Germany, including European collision tests, Glory ix5 is fully up to local regulations and quality standards, and enjoys superior cost performance.
