Dongfeng motor (DFM) has brought its full range of motorcade to the Dubai International Motor Show this year including sedan, SUV, MPV, and pick-up.
The theme of the second largest motor company in China for the show is "Trust, co-creation, win-win" for its second participation at the show. Four new-designed vehicles, AX7 SUV, A30 passenger vehicle, RICH pickup, and off-road vehicle Warrior are all making their first appearances in Dubai.
"Dubai is a portal for DFM to enter the Middle East market, so DFM attaches much importance to Dubai. We will keep on enhancing the communication and coordination with Dubai-based dealers and clients, and we are convinced that the cooperation between both sides will be increasingly efficient," Su Webbing, general manager of International Business Department at DFM, said in a statement.
To cater for local market demands, DFM has developed its products with pertinence, and those DFM products with trustworthy performance and nice-looking appearance fully exemplify DFM brand's traits like profession, high efficiency, and high reliability, etc.
Responding to a question regarding competition with big boys of the industry based in US, Europe and Japan, Webbing said: "..it's a normal situation, because European and American brands have more than 100 years of development history after all and they enjoy more prestigious brand influence in comparison with Chinese brands."
He added that continued product improvement and increasing marketing would narrow the gap.
He emphasised that alone with the execution of the global strategy of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road of China, DFM will intensify its brand marketing, strengthen the user experience, try the utmost to meet user's demands, produce more product and service packages with geographic characteristics and fully increase the customer experience and the value of DFM brand.
