The Dongfeng VIGO made its highly anticipated Central American debut at a launch event and major client signing ceremony in San José, Costa Rica. Attended by Mr.Qiu, Deputy General Manager of Dongfeng Import & Export Corporation (acting in daily operations), the event drew over 300 prospective customers and more than 4,000 online viewers.
Structured around partner introductions, in-depth product presentations, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and key handovers to first patch of owners, the 90-minute event generated immense enthusiasm—particularly during the interactive session, where four display vehicles were surrounded by eager attendees.
The launch yielded an impressive 270 retail orders on-site. As VIGO’s first official market entry in Central America—and Dongfeng’s inaugural strategic partnership with a major local client in the region—this milestone sets the stage for broader expansion across the Americas.
In 2026, leveraging Dongfeng’s strong product competitiveness and its partner’s extensive distribution network, the company will use Costa Rica as a strategic foothold to scale collaboration models across the entire American continent, driving dual growth in orders and terminal sales.
