Recently, Dongfeng Import and Export Company’s Pickup Division officially launched the Dongfeng Z9 in Chile. Through three consecutive, specialized, and diverse promotional events targeting different core audiences, the company comprehensively showcased the model’s overall strength with precise scenario-based communication. As the company’s latest all-scenario, multi-purpose mid-to-large off-road pickup, the Dongfeng Z9 was designed from the outset to meet the needs and usage scenarios of mainstream global markets, with a deep understanding of user pain points. Built on the global multi-terrain "Star Core" platform and equipped with "AHT all-scenario hybrid technology," the model focuses on the strategic directions of "passenger-oriented, off-road capability, and internationalization," further accelerating the company’s "international leap" progress.

Built on Dongfeng's 32 years of pickup manufacturing experience, the Dongfeng Z9 precisely targets the Chilean market with its robust product strength. While retaining its powerful commercial functionality, the model also incorporates several comfort and high-end design features, including Nappa luxury multifunctional seats, a panoramic sunroof, the largest 90° rear door opening angle in its class, and a unique rear seat backrest with three adjustable recline settings. These enhancements significantly improve the convenience and comfort of both driving and riding experiences.
In terms of performance
The Dongfeng Z9 is equipped with 10 all-terrain driving modes, with a body size of 5520×1960×1950mm and a rear cargo box volume of 1332L. It has a towing capacity of over 3.5 tons, easily handling various heavy-duty tasks. With a ground clearance of 240mm, 100% climbing ability, and a wading depth of 800mm, it is well-equipped to tackle Chile's mountainous and complex driving environments with ease.
Safety features
The Dongfeng Z9 features a five-star collision standard body structure, with a 97% high-strength steel frame. It is equipped with a 540° panoramic camera system and the only EPB+AUTOHOLD system standard across all models in the pickup industry. The vehicle's braking distance is just 41.9 meters from 100 km/h in an empty state, providing a comprehensive safety defense. Additionally, with a fuel consumption of 7.7L per 100 kilometers and a 0-40 km/h acceleration time of just 3.4 seconds, it strikes a balance between fuel efficiency and handling flexibility, covering all scenarios from work to daily life.
