Since Dongfeng Motor Corporation's 10th Party Congress outlined the strategic goals of "Three Leaps and One Renewal," Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. (DFCV) has shouldered the mission of propelling Dongfeng light-duty vehicles into the global market. Amidst the waves of "new energy transition" and "intelligent transformation," the company has continuously broken through technological barriers, launched the RuiliDa brand to enhance product competitiveness, and embarked on the journey of "international leapfrogging." By crossing mountains and seas, DFCV has spread Dongfeng's strength worldwide, forging ahead as a pioneer with unwavering determination to write its own global expansion story.
From January 16 to February 10, DFCV’s Overseas Business Division demonstrated extraordinary perseverance and resolve, working tirelessly to ensure the timely shipment of over 1,000 overseas orders. Employees from sales, quality assurance, service, and logistics departments remained at their posts during the Spring Festival, collaborating seamlessly to deliver vehicles to customers in the Americas, Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia on schedule.
To honor their commitment to deadlines, managers from the Americas Business Office, despite jet lag, worked around the clock immediately upon returning home. They maintained close communication with clients, tracked payment progress, and meticulously coordinated eight batches of shipment schedules and cargo space to ensure seamless execution.
For each shipment, the team synchronized international logistics chains, managed information flow, documentation, and physical logistics. They oversaw vehicle preparation on-site, rigorously inspected quality, and ensured that the Spring Festival holiday did not disrupt the shipping plans.
02 Efficient Coordination: Guaranteeing Timely Deliveries
The logistics surge during the Spring Festival posed both a challenge and an opportunity for the Overseas Business Division. A detailed shipping blueprint was finalized before the holiday. On January 31 (the third day of the Lunar New Year), the logistics team braved freezing winds and snow to coordinate with partners, ensuring the safe departure of the first batch of 100 bus chassis post-holiday.
On February 1 (the fourth day of the Lunar New Year), cross-department collaboration at Wuhan’s Yangluo Port facilitated the containerization of vehicles bound for the Americas and Africa. From preparation and loading to customs clearance and transshipment, every step was flawlessly executed, securing an auspicious start toward the 2025 sales target.
By translating Dongfeng’s "Product Leadership, Efficiency-Driven Operations, and Global Expansion" strategy into action, the Overseas Business Division has become a steadfast builder of Dongfeng’s "international leapfrogging" vision. Let us march forward together in 2025, striving to become a world-class light commercial vehicle enterprise!
