On March 5th, Mr. Zhang Zutong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, met with Mr. Vincent SUSSFELD, CEO of the Personal Finance Group of BNP Paribas, and his delegation at the headquarters of Dongfeng Motor Corporation. The two sides exchanged opinions on global business financial support and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
Mr. Cedric DESPLATS-REDIER, CEO of BNP Paribas Personal Finance Group Asia Pacific, Mr. Ronny SEIDEL, Head of Global Mobile Travel Business at BNP Paribas Personal Finance Group, Mr. Liao Xianzhi, General Manager of Financial Control Department at Dongfeng Motor Corporation, and Mr. Ma Lei, General Manager of Dongfeng Motor Industry Import and Export Company Limited attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Dongfeng Motor Corporation introduced its overseas business plan and key work for 2024; while BNP Paribas introduced its business plan and product overview. Both parties stated that they will further clarify the scope and region of cooperation, leverage their respective advantages in financial services, product manufacturing and other business areas, and promote Dongfeng's independent brand to expand into broader overseas markets.
Mr. Zhang Zutong stated that as a leading international financial group in Europe, BNP Paribas is of great significance for Dongfeng to expand and strengthen its overseas business. He hopes that both sides can leverage their respective strengths, fully explore cooperation opportunities in the financial field, create competitive financial products, and work together to contribute to the great-leap-forward development of Dongfeng's overseas business.
Mr. Vincent SUSSFELD stated that BNP Paribas has a globally leading business scale and extensive market coverage in areas such as personal finance and automotive insurance services. It is capable to provide mature and customized financial services to Dongfeng. He hopes that both parties can work closely together to promote the high-quality development of Dongfeng's overseas business.
Before the meeting, Mr. Vincent SUSSFELD and the delegation visited Dongfeng's MHERO Technology, VOYAH Automobile, and Dongfeng Motor Corportation headquarter exhibition hall. The tour enabled them to learn deeper about Dongfeng's development history, the latest technological research and development achievements.
