Time flies and 2022 has now quietly arrived. It gives me great pleasure to deliver my New Year greetings to you in Wuhan, China. On behalf of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, I would like to extend my sincerest regards, and thank you for your long-standing support and assistance to Dongfeng Motor.
Looking back at the year of 2021, Dongfeng Motor has made great efforts to overcome the adverse impacts brought on by the global pandemic. Our business was advanced in an orderly manner with steady sales growth of our main models. The markets of South America, Southeast Asia, Africa and other regions continued to gain momentum. Meanwhile, we seized the opportunity of green transformation in Europe and other markets to attain the large-scale export of new energy vehicles, with overall overseas sales reaching a record high.
Dongfeng Corporation has launched the "DONGFENG ADVANCE" plan, which will put technological innovation in a more important strategic position, thereby creating a brand new Dongfeng Motor with technology. With the establishment of three business groups, namely a vehicle business, a technology sector and a service ecosystem, and the implementation of a new branding strategy as well as the "Quantum Leap" of innovation, Dongfeng Motor will continue to make iterations and upgrades in the fields of new energy, intelligent driving and traditional powertrain.
Dongfeng Motor is currently accelerating the layout of a new generation of automotive products that are lightweight, electric, intelligent, network connected and sharable. New products such as Yixuan MAX, Voyah, and Dongfeng Tianlong GX, which integrate with the latest technology from Dongfeng Motor, have been launched in the Chinese market with positive reception. We will introduce the most advanced products into the global market as soon as possible, and look forward to your appreciation and cooperation.
In 2022, Dongfeng Motor will continue to uphold the brand mission of "Drive Your Dreams", and adhere to a customer-centered and market-oriented approach. We will further increase the investment of resources in the global market, and share the company’s cutting-edge technological achievements with our business partners and customers to create a better life.
