On November 8th, 2023, the China International Commercial Vehicle Exhibition was held as scheduled at the Wuhan International Expo Center, where Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle's green, intelligent, all-scenario application solution was unveiled.  The event saw the participation of Zhang Xiaofan, General Manager of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle, Wang Nanjun, Chairman of Hubei Chutian Intelligent Transportation Co., Ltd., Ran Jianbo, Chairman of Hubei Anjie Logistics Co., Ltd., Mr. Gianenrico Griffini, Chairman of the International Truck of the Year (ITOY) committee, Ms. Yang Lin, Vice President of the Automobile Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Yu Jing,  Chairman of the China Truck of the Year (CTOY) committee, along with leaders from Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle's domestic and overseas value chain partners, media friends, and others.

The exhibition, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle, once again presented a solid and sincere commitment to the world—unveiling the Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle's green, intelligent, all-scenario application solution, signing a demonstration cooperation agreement for 200 hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks in the Hanyi Hydrogen Energy Corridor, and receiving the "2024 China Innovative Truck" award for the Dongfeng GX autonomous L2+ level intelligent driving tractor.

Heavy-duty truck new ecology "Looking to the future": Dongfeng commercial vehicle green environmental protection intelligent complete scenario application plan released

As the highlight of this press conference, the release of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle's green, environmentally friendly, and intelligent full-scene application solution adds new highlights to the future blueprint of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle's environmental protection and intelligence. Shen Bin, Head of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Technology Center, interpreted the solution on-site, presenting a panoramic industry view of "green and environmentally friendly products + intelligent connectivity + segmented scenarios" with Dongfeng's strength.

With a focus on continuously creating higher value for customers, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle has launched comprehensive application solutions centered around long-haul transportation, regional transportation, engineering operations, and specialized operations. These solutions include three technological pathways: natural gas, electric power, and hydrogen energy, as well as integrated advanced driver assistance and autonomous driving features. Additionally, representative vehicle models from the green, environmentally friendly, and intelligent full-scene series have been introduced.

Around the conference site, green and environmental protection intelligent representative products applied to various scenarios were also on display simultaneously and statically, including a new generation of hydrogen fuel tractor matched with Dongfeng autonomous high-power fuel cell system, which can achieve the highest power, lowest energy consumption and maximum capacity in the industry.   DONGFENG GX-Autonomous L2+ Intelligent driving tractor is matched with the DONGFENG Autonomous Intelligent Driving system, and its reliability and durability are at the international leading level.   The new-generation DONGFENG replaceable battery tractor with a new shape upgraded power, and better energy consumption can complete the operation of replacing power and replenishing energy in five minutes without worrying about endurance performance.  The newly upgraded DONGFENG KX high-horsepower gas truck with the lowest natural gas energy consumption in the industry is the first to adopt 1350L dual gas cylinders, 12m³ DONGFENG KC pure electric mixer for particular operation scenarios.  The new-generation DONGFENG KR matches trucks with a new cab, autonomous electric drive axle, and battery bottom.

As well as the ammonia diesel engine and post-processing, ammonia hydrogen engine and fission, electric drive bridge, and autonomous AD control system.  From the vehicle power chain to the control system, behind each product is the crystallization of Dongfeng's more than 50 years of technological innovation, carrying the value mission of customer-centric, intelligent technology to enjoy the future.

At the press conference, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., LTD., Hubei Chutian Intelligent Transportation Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Chutian High-speed"), Hubei Anjie Logistics Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Anjie Logistics") signed the Han Yi hydrogen energy corridor, 200 hydrogen energy heavy truck demonstration cooperation.

Award of Honor: DONGFENG GX Autonomous L2+ Intelligent Driving Tractor Wins the '2024 China Innovative Truck' Award.

On May 18 this year, DONGFENG GX, a high-end heavy truck for commercial vehicles, was officially launched, integrating several leading international manufacturing technologies, comprehensive intelligent security systems, and intelligent network services, which has been favored by the market and customers, and has also attracted the attention of industry media and organizations. In September, the world's most authoritative and influential truck selection organization, the International Truck of the Year Organizing Committee, the only representative of "China Truck of the Year" in China, invited the DONGFENG GX autonomous L2+ intelligent driving tractor to participate in the "2024 China Innovative Truck" Award evaluation.

Ms. Yu Jing, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of China Truck of the Year, introduced the award decision: The "China Innovative Truck" award is selected for the innovation of China's truck technology route to recognize outstanding trucks with innovative technology and alternative power systems.  The evaluation committee conducted a rigorous selection and evaluation screening of all the participating models this year, and the final DONGFENG GX autonomous L2+ intelligent driving tractor won the "2024 China Innovation Truck" award with excellent comprehensive performance.  This is not only the strength of the DONGFENG GX independent L2+ level intelligent driving tractor but also a milestone of developing Dongfeng commercial vehicles inherited 54 years of Chinese craftsman spirit.  It is a glorious event that has entered the history of Chinese commercial vehicles and demonstrated China's intelligent manufacturing and Dongfeng's strength in the world truck field.
