DFM Moves into Algeria
AX3 Opens "New Life Plus" in its Debut

AUTO Expo Algeria, a great annual auto event in North Africa, kicked off on March 17, 2016 as scheduled. Under the theme of "with you", DMF appeared brilliantly with a strong lineup of 11 models, including AX3 and AX7 representing DFM’s AX series, DFM A30 and S30, Joyear X5, Fengguang 330 and Xiaokang mini truck, showcasing its distinctive full series solutions.

At the concise and elegant DongFeng booth symbolizing sustainability, colorful activities such as photo taking, kids doodling and local Arab folk performance, AX7 Zone and DongFeng Corporate Culture Zone attracted flocks of visitors.

On the afternoon of March 17, a ceremony for the initial launch of DFM AX3 SUV in Africa was held at the DongFeng booth. Yang Guangyu, Chinese ambassador to Algeria; Zhao Dongliang, economic and commercial counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Algeria; Amine Andaloussi, secretary-general of the Algeria Automobile Dealers Association; Su Weibin, director of the Overseas Business Unit of DFM and Medour Nouredine, representative of DFM's partner-Burgan Group, jointly started the key symbolizing "New Life Plus", opening up a new journey for AX3 in Algeria.

As the first DF1-based SUV built by DFM in four years, AX3 is another star model of the AX series. Inspired by the concept of sharpness, dynamism and trendiness, it boasts the core advantage of "huge space, strong power, high energy conservation". It earned endless praise for its appearance from the guests and journalists present, creating a new experience of "New Life Plus" for the local market.

According to Su, this was the third consecutive time that DFM has participated in the exhibition. Over the past three years, DFM has been committed to strategic market development, new model launches, brand communication, marketing channels and after-sales services, and auto finance in Algeria, thus enhancing its brand influence year after year. Despite the severe situation and the intensification of market changes, DFM still pays close attention to the Algerian and African markets, and remains confident of its development in these markets.

Algeria is a gateway market in Africa. DFM has been advancing market construction under the strategy of planning exported products, finding solutions for overseas markets, establishing an overseas image and arranging overseas operations in a unified manner. In the future, DFM will provide better products and services to constantly enhance its brand image, achieve greater leaps and win trust from more customers.
