On November 8 Chile Time, Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM) successfully held Chile Dongfeng Brand Night & AX4 Launch Ceremony in Santiago, capital of Chile.
Among more than 300 attendees were Zhao Binbin, the representative of the Chinese Embassy in Chile; Hugo Lara, Member of the National Congress of Chile; Chairman Francisco Javier Errazuriz and President Gonzalo Landaeta Pereira of DFM's Chilean distributor group; representatives of the City Government of Santiago, Asociación Nacional Automotriz de Chile A.G. and Dongfeng's Chilean dealers; representatives of more than 100 media outlets including People's Daily, EL Mercurio, EMOL, La Tercera and America Economia, consumer representatives and local online celebrities.
Li Junzhi, Director of the International Business Department of DFM addressed the ceremony. He introduced Dongfeng's overall situation and "3+3+N" overseas business layout, reviewed its operations in the Chilean market since its entry into Chile at the beginning of this century, elaborated on its plan for new product launch, brand building, marketing, customer experience enhancement and service improvement in Chile, extended thanks to the relevant sides for their persistent support, and expected that AX4 would enrich Dongfeng's product line and enhance Chilean consumers' travel experience.
Then Gonzalo delivered an ebullient address. He shared his feeling for years of cooperation with Dongfeng, thinking that Dongfeng could always create innovative products for Chile, it is the pride of CIDEF to maintain good cooperation with Dongfeng, Dongfeng's products have higher quality and safety, AX4 caters to the need of young and mainstream consumers, and Dongfeng will bring all-new high-grade, trendy and outstanding products to Chile. He expected to further strengthen cooperation with Dongfeng to provide trustworthy products and services to local customers.
This April, Dongfeng released its core brand values and perfected the multilingual interpretation of the values. At Dongfeng Brand Night, Dongfeng released its core brand values of "Quality, Intelligence, Harmony" and unified overseas brand identity once again, and comprehensively interpreted them based on the measures for advancing the "D139" brand strategy, to offer local media and customers a deeper understanding of Dongfeng brand and spirit.
Dongfeng AX4 representing "trend, quality and grade" appeared amid a cool and fashionable light dance show, lighting up the atmosphere. The SUV's bionics design, trendy exterior, exquisite interior, tremendous power and black technologies make it more dynamic. That night the impressive car narration of a Chilean fashion host and online celebrities' live streaming added brilliance to the launch ceremony, attracted wide attention from fans, and boosted Dongfeng's product sales and reputation. Upon its launch in Chile, AX4 will constitute a product matrix of Dongfeng covering car, SUV, MPV and pickup series with AX5, AX7, AX3, SX6, SX5, S50, SUCCE and RICH, to meet customers' diverse needs and boost Dongfeng's sales.
